Anti Softness soundbank for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 is a free pack of 40 atmospheric pads created exclusively with Saw and Square waves on their base. Actually those are the presets of our Softness soundbank where the sines are replaced with sawtooth and square waveforms.
 
This leads to a crispier texture of the sounds related to the Softness soundbank although they keep their atmospheric timbral dimension.
 
Using an additional saturation, distortion or waveshaper plugin (or even use the corresponding sections and effect devices of Omnisphere 2) could lead to a more edged sound.
 
The reverb for all patches is in the Aux section of the effect rack. A nice way to give the sounds more dense and thicker space dimension is to add a chamber reverb on it. This will give a dose of lush ambient background with clarity. It is advised to turn the Omnisphere’s reverb off lowering the Aux Send slider on the common effects section in such situation.
 
MW is adding vibrato while with aftertouch you could modulate the pitch of the sounds.
 
Patches were created with Omnisphere 2.8 and run best with this or newer edition
