Cat Pads is our second soundbank for Cherry Audio Octave Cat Synthesizer. It contains 51 classic synth pads that fit for many music genres especially when a synthesized sound background is the goal. It can be used to cinematic, ambient, electronic music, techno, progressive rock and other.

In some patches like Cat Pad 06, Cat Pad 10, Cat Pad 14 and Cat Pad 19 some clicks may occur due to the use of sequencer modulating some synth’s elements. While this adds to the character of the sound if you don’t want this to happen, please disable Sequencer switching the Keyboard Gate button Off or you may adjust the Sequencer’s CV Knobs at will.

Presets were designed with Octave Cat 1.0.2 (Build 58) and run best with this or newer edition

Please Note

Try to keep optimal levels of your synth tracks to avoid digital clipping from the synth’s output for the best sounding results and to avoid any potential equipment damage. While designing the sounds we try to keep at a good level but as the final level is a result of many different factors e.g., how many keys are pressed and with how much velocity always try to avoid digital clipping.

Using a limiter to ensure that no digital clipping occurs is recommended to keep equipment safe.
