Coming Down contains 30 experimental monophonic synths for Arturia Buchla Easel V synthesizer. The idea behind making this soundbank is taken by two Leprous songs. The intro synth sound of Have You Ever? and the atmospheric sound in The Valley track.
The sounds here are very unique and have many peculiarities. Some of them are clicky, some of them have a lot of bass frequencies and just a few of them could be used for melodic parts.
Another important thing here is that sometimes the presets are using a different than classic envelope source to modulate the Amp level. As a result, the sounds are literally endless as they don’t use the release stage of a classic ADSR envelope to adjust the note’s end from the time the pressed key is released. What I usually do in this situation is to record the synth in a different audio clip while performing and then adjust the volume, fades etc. in the recorded audio file.
All presets designed with Buchla Easel V 1.12.0.3420 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition
Analog Lab V edition: Soundbank needs at least version Analog Lab V 5.7.2.3703 (x64) or newer
