Solar System Outer Boundary - Pigments and Analog Lab V
We introduce our second preset pack of Solar System series for Arturia Pigments and Analog Lab V synthesizers. Outer Boundary is consisting of 72 patches with vivid sci-fi cinematic character. Here you can find different types of synths like pads, experimental plucky keys, exploratory polysynths and ambient sound effects.
 
All of them have been designed upon custom samples which come with this pack. It contains 12 different Soundsources and for each one 6 presets have been designed with different characteristics. The sounds could find their place in various genres like cinematic and game audio music, electronic, experimental, new age and progressive rock/ metal styles.
 
A Majestic Key subcategory is a 6 presets part with plucky keys. A String Ensemble one has 6 synth string patches. Cosmic Winds include 6 atmospheres and Digi Asteroids are 6 Ambient SFX. Far Away and Icy Temper presets are also plucky keys. Liquid Space has 6 experimental synths and Little Fragments 6 synth organs – some of them created with granular synthesis. The six Silent Places are very experimental and the six Space Pianos are creative electronic keyboards. Unidentified has six evolving pads and finally Weird Objects are 6 creative sound effects patches.
 
For most of them you could listen to a modulated space which is moving towards higher frequencies adding interesting sonic dimensions – like the sound is traveling through a hostile icy vast spacetime site. If you wish to remove it then check the shimmer reverb or for some presets the PS delay devices.
 
All 4 macros are assigned to some aspects of the sound for adding variations to the patches.
 
All presets designed with Pigments 4.0.3.3000 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition

Please Note

Try to keep optimal levels of your synth tracks to avoid digital clipping from the synth’s output for the best sounding results and to avoid any potential equipment damage. While designing the sounds we try to keep at a good level but as the final level is a result of many different factors e.g., how many keys are pressed and with how much velocity always try to avoid digital clipping.

Using a limiter to ensure that no digital clipping occurs is recommended to keep equipment safe.
