Clavi Colors - Clavinet V and Analog Lab V
We introduce our first funky based soundbank for Arturia’s Clavinet V and Analog Lab V. With 40 presets full of funky character this collection is a nice addition for productions of this genre as well as for deep house sophisticated stuff.
 
The main element here is that classic timbre of this specific music genre with the whimsical temper, the playful sound colors and the uplifting character. For most of the presets the Auto Wah and the included Amp are very important elements of the sound. You could replace the auto wah device with the classic Wah Pedal in this slot so you could manually control the wah wah effect.
 
In the preset walkthrough video, I used some midi clips for demonstrating the patches as I am not such good in funky styles.
 
This soundbank is pretty much narrow focused with not so much variety in sounds. Its role is to add some more key patches for productions into funky and deep house.
 
In the Clavinet V edition, the 4 macros are assigned to the
  • Mute slider, a nice option to mute the tone of the strings. Experiment with this one for adjust the body of the sound
  • Noise coming from the pickups and preamp for adding some vintage goodness
  • Delay effect
  • String resonance, which is also a very nice way to manipulate the sound
 
In the Analog Lab V edition, the knobs are controlling different settings like hammer hardness, strings resonance and auto-wah rate and amount. You can change to different aspects if clicking below the knob and select the one you need.
 
The 60's Funk patch sounds so retro and Acid Funk has this acid temper from the auto-wah. Acoustic Funk has a feeling of an acoustic guitar while Ballad Funk is soft, warm and liquid. Organic Funk is puchy and Playful Funk sounds like a slapped electric bass.
 
All presets designed with Clavinet V 1.11.1.2983 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition

Try to keep optimal levels of your synth tracks to avoid digital clipping from the synth’s output for the best sounding results and to avoid any potential equipment damage.
