Pluck6 contains 34 nostalgic short synths for Cherry Audio Mercury-6 synthesizer, heavily inspired by the 80s. From heavy plucks with many bass and low mids frequencies to softer and brighter ones and from Synthwave like shorts to many experimental detuned sounds this soundbank was mainly created for early electronic music, Synthwave and 90’s melodic techno.

All patches have 6 voice polyphony and for many of them a synced to tempo delay adding some interesting rhythmic patterns in the tail of the sound. For some of them the module of distortion adds some, mostly subtle, grit and dirt. For some of them filter’s resonance adding some interesting soundcolors.

Presets were designed with MERCURY-6 1.0.5 (Build 87) and run best with this or newer edition

Try to keep optimal levels of your synth tracks to avoid digital clipping from the synth’s output for the best sounding results and to avoid any potential equipment damage. While designing the sounds we try to keep at a good level but as the final level is a result of many different factors e.g., how many keys are pressed and with how much velocity always try to avoid digital clipping.
