Solar System: Mercury continues our Solar System soundbank series and contains 72 cinematic Arturia Pigments presets. It is also available for Analog Lab V users.

This time we explore sonically the smallest of the Solar System planet and the nearest to the Sun, Mercury.

There are 12 subgroups of 6 presets with the following names:

  1. 88 Days
  2. Close To Sun
  3. Mercury Craters
  4. Thin Exosphere
  5. Hot Day Cold Night
  6. Fastest Planet
  7. Metallic Core
  8. Aphelion
  9. Smallest Planet
  10. Caloris Basin
  11. Picasso Crater
  12. Tolstoj Basin

In the 72 included presets the main characteristics are the sci-fi flavored cinematic style, the saturated sonic elements (Deriving from the tape echo delay most of the times) and the use of the incredible Analog engine of the Pigments synth.

All presets designed with Pigments 4.1.1.3513 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition

Analog Lab V edition: Soundbank needs at least version Analog Lab V 5.8.0.3963 (x64) or newer

Please Note

Try to keep optimal levels of your synth tracks to avoid digital clipping from the synth’s output for the best sounding results and to avoid any potential equipment damage. While designing the sounds we try to keep at a good level but as the final level is a result of many different factors e.g., how many keys are pressed and with how much velocity always try to avoid digital clipping.

Using a limiter to ensure that no digital clipping occurs is recommended to keep equipment safe.
