We introduce our new soundbank series for Arturia Pigments and Analog Lab V synths under the name Solar System.

Solar System – The Vacuum consists of 72 custom samples based patches with dark and cinematic character mainly. 12 different Soundsources are the base for the design of those sounds which could be described mainly like pads but could also play the role of polysynth in terms of performance. The are also some lofi keys included.

The soundbank is mainly focused on cinematic, game audio and progressive rock styles and carry a sci-fi temper derived by the theme of this collection. Atmospheres, Ambient Pads, Rhythmic Pads, Lofi Keys and Experimental Synths are creating a nice pack of playable tonal sound textures. Maybe a patch or two have more atonal character within this Pigments expanse.

The presets are finally divided in name according to the sample that was used – so we have 12 different preset names each one with six synth patches.

Listen to Beauty Space 01 atmospheric pad full of emotions or the choir like Beauty Space 04. Between Planets 01 is exhaling tension and Between Planets 02 has a sorrowful temper. Cold 02 is a “bassy” lofi key and Cold 03 adds some brilliance. Comet 01 is a dark majestic atmosphere while Comet 04 has some inharmonic tonic characteristics.

Dark Walk 02 is emotional ambient synth and Dark Walk 03 has some nice movement to its sound. Edges 02 is a crispy yet dark synth and Edges 06 has an airy character. Infinity Darkness 05 is a perfect background companion for sci-fi themes and the Infinity Darkness 06 sounds a bit dirty especially in higher registers. Space Stones 01 is a nostalgic progressive rock synth and Space Stones 02 sounds like an experimental electric keyboard.

Within its 72 sounds we can find a variety of timbres and characteristics – the only common is the atmospheric vibes of all of them. This soundbank has been influenced by the vacuum space of our solar system, a state of space without any material. The vacuum in the universe is a hostile environment to life with zero gravity and icy temperatures. Those are the main textures I tried to translate in a sonic dimension.

All 4 macros are assigned to some different modules of the synth for adding variations to the sounds.

All presets designed with Pigments 4.0.3.3000 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition

Analog Lab V edition: Soundbank needs at least version Analog Lab V 5.6.3.2983 (x64) or newer

Please Note

Try to keep optimal levels of your synth tracks to avoid digital clipping from the synth’s output for the best sounding results and to avoid any potential equipment damage. While designing the sounds we try to keep at a good level but as the final level is a result of many different factors e.g., how many keys are pressed and with how much velocity always try to avoid digital clipping.

Using a limiter to ensure that no digital clipping occurs is recommended to keep equipment safe.
