Volt OB - Voltage Modular Patches
Volt OB is a very experimental soundbank for Cherry Audio Voltage Modular synth. It consists of 35 presets that lies between pad and quick polysynth. Combing some parts from different vintage hardware units the result is a warm sounding bank with nostalgic vibes within those 35 Voltage Modular Patches.
 
Actually, the use of 2 envelopes (one mono and one poly) to shape the contour of the AMP leads in a weird but beautiful result – while pressing the first notes we have a nice slow “pady” attack when pressing the next ones (and keep the notes before pressed) have a quick attack like a classic quick polysynth. Also, according to the release of the Poly Synthesizer Expander Module, when releasing the notes and then pressing new ones in less of about 1-2 secs then the sound tails of the previous held notes are sounding again until the Poly Synthesizer Expander Module release ends. Also, the weird use of Mono To Poly module creates some interesting sonic elements.
