Cherry Audio GX-80 Invisible Suns – Vintage Organic Synth Presets

Invisible Suns contains 30 presets for the Cherry Audio GX-80, exploring the peculiar beauty of vintage organic synthesis through sounds that breathe, wander, and gradually transform. Rooted in the adventurous spirit of 1970s progressive and symphonic rock, this collection draws inspiration from an era when analog synthesizers and electronic keyboards opened unfamiliar musical territories.

Rather than pursuing a wide variety of conventional synthesizer sounds, Invisible Suns follows a deliberately narrow artistic direction. Its sonic palette includes modest, almost primitive electronic organs, singing organ tones, gently animated synth pads, restless atmospheric textures, nostalgic keyboard timbres, and unusual supporting sounds with distinctly retro personalities.

Movement plays a central role throughout the soundbank, ranging from delicate internal modulation to more pronounced tonal fluctuations. Some patches evoke the experimental keyboard passages of early progressive rock, while others suggest the drifting landscapes of vintage ambient music, pastoral electronic compositions, and atmospheric symphonic arrangements.

These GX-80 presets offer characterful possibilities for musicians seeking warm, slightly imperfect analog colors, haunting melodic backgrounds, expressive organ voices, and strange electronic details reminiscent of forgotten recordings.
