Silent North contains 8 tones for the “CLN” – Clean Amplifier inside Neural DSP Archetype: Gojira X, focused on the calmer and more atmospheric side of metal guitar production. The pack moves between modern and old-school clean guitar aesthetics, exploring modulated textures, ambient depth, spacious harmonic movement, and vintage-inspired clean tones with subtle breakup when played more aggressively.
The beautifully modulated “Ashes of Tundra” gives way to the open and spacious character of “Beneath Polar Skies”, while “Hollow Constellations” delivers a fuller and more curved tonal response. “Ivory Fires” transforms the guitar into an epic-sounding bass texture, adding darker low-end atmosphere to compositions and cinematic arrangements. The collection also includes pattern-based clean tones, ambient explorations, and classic 90s-inspired clean guitar sounds suitable for atmospheric passages, intros, post-metal textures, progressive arrangements, and melodic clean sections inside heavier productions.
Presets were designed around the clean amplifier section of the plugin, although several tones can introduce a gentle breakup character depending on picking intensity and guitar output level, adding a more organic raw response during performance.
Natural Demo Sound
No extra effects were added to the guitar track in the video—just the natural, unaltered tone of the presets.
The video's audio was recorded using an active humbucker bridge pickup.
The output levels of the tones were optimized accordingly. Please adjust the input and output volumes to suit your specific guitar setup.
